Although women have come a long way in today's society there is still much to do.   We  still  are not  getting e qual pay for equal work,  although it  has improved   over   years   more   improvement   is  needed.   Listening  to  the politicians  of  today  I  am shocked at  what I am hearing,  for most of them would   like  to  put  us   back  in  the  kitchen,   keeping  us   "barefoot  and pregnant",   as if  we  ever left  the  kitchen.   Many of us women juggle two  
full  time jobs,  house-mom,  and careers,  and in some cases not  by choice,  
but  by need,  as we are the sole providers for our  families.   I have heard it said,  that the problem with today's  youth is,  the mothers are out working instead of  staying home.  Well in this woman's opinion,  if the government were  harder  on  the  men  who  leave their families to fend for themselves, more woman  (those who want to),  would be able  to s tay home   and raise their families.  Good child care across the world is needed, for there are too many   pedophiles  in  that   line  of   work   just  waiting to  pounce  on  the innocent.   And  what  of  the  crimes  committed  against  both  woman and children, why are perpetrators of these crimes not punished more severely? Could  it  be  that  the  majority  of  the government  body just  doesn't  care  
about it's  women or children?   Or have  they led such  a charmed  life  that they  can not believe  such abuse exist?   What of  the abused children being sent  back  to  live in  the abusing  household,  or the man who beat his wife then  was  told  to  take   a walk  around  the  block  to cool off.    This is still happening  in  today's  society,  how  many  women  and  children  must die  
from  abuse  before  our  government  opens its eyes.   Don't they realize the children are our future, and that women bring forth that future...
